I cut the bit where I called him a w**ker and said "it's a f**king squirrel, you d**khead".
Van behind me came within inches of hitting me.
Had this been not such a quiet road (no distractions), the van would have been planted in my boot for sure.
Your case will drag on for quite some time, it might have helped if remember which of the bumps hit you the hardest, but it's a hard one to prove. You'll suffer increased premiums and loss of your excess payment until it's resolved.
The driver who stopped for the animal should have been taken into the woods and shot, because in reality it's all their fault.
I've watched most of your videos on youtube, and sadly I am not the offending party in any of them... where do you drive on most of these?0 -
^^ Huh?
Drive lots of places around the West-Midlands area.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I was driving down the A1M a couple of weeks ago, fairly busy, was in the "fast" lane at the time when I spotted a large stone in the road about 200 yards ahead.
I had Artics alongside me so couldn't change lanes and then I realised the rock was in fact a baby rabbit as I got closer to it.
I didn't want to run the poor beggar over so move across to straddle it, it was a little bit tight but I did it without causing any accidents, unharmed bunny emerged in my mirrors still sitting there in a trance! Probably got squished a bit later on though.:A0 -

Would I brake for a bird or a squirrel? hell no.
I braked for a squirrel when I was cycling to work one morning. Went sailing straight over the handlebars, hit the ground with my knee (big hole, still have the scar) then toppled over and hit my head on the path. Big lump the size of an egg came up on my head!0 -
^^ Should have done a bunny hop

Very useful skill for traveling along the canals when the fishermen obstruct the path with their fishing poles (which are often longer than the canal is wide), but if they know your going to bunny hop they lift them a foot or so into the air to stop you.... Resulting in huge shards of carbon fibre spraying your legs (gotta be sneaky)
Seriously though, when your on a bike, you need to lean right back and use both brakes if you want to avoid going over the handlebars.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
