CTC no mention of being a student and partner's income is £1 ?!

I got my renewal pack a couple of weeks ago for CTC and rang them straight away to renew over the phone. Basically, I was getting IS until June and then I was on JSA until 17th September when I started my degree course. I rang tax credits as soon as I'd signed off JSA (as they had advised) and told them I was now a student getting student finance.
Anyway, when I rang about my renewal they didn't seem to know about my student status, just that I had zero income, which I thought strange as I get the adult dependents grant which I have been told is counted as income by tax credits. They said it was all fine, but then I got a phone call off them a few days later checking my income. Once again I told them my circumstances and they said that was fine.
Today I got my notification and it has income £0 by my name and income £1 by my husbands. I don't understand?! My husband is dependent on me financially and has been for 4 years; I claimed JSA and IS in my name. I am also concerned as the amount of CTC has gone up, but I thought it had been frozen now under the current government and there have been no changes in circumstances which would have caused it to rise as far as I know.
Please help with this confusion, I don't know what's going on?

If your income is below about £16k you get max rates of CTC anyway.

The rates of CTC have gone up this year, by £255 per child, don't believe everything you read in the papers!

Thank you. I know I should get the max rate at the moment anyway, I just don't want anything to be wrong on the claim and have problems further down the line. To be honest, I have only read in the papers that CB is staying the same, but I think some people got the wrong end of the stick and started saying everything was staying the same. Thank you for clarifying this.
