I upgraded to the latest version of FF - I hated it so tried to go back to my original version - that messed up so I performed a System Restore - after that was completed FF did not work at all and loads of problems with Kaspersky (thats sorted)

I have installed FF Version 3.6.13 - but my icons in the toolbar are either missing or not in the right place.

Have tried to View, Toolbars, Customise but still not happy.

Is there a way of returning where I was this morning in terms of how my FF was displayed?

this page might help you. :)

Not sure it will keep all your customisation if you do it this way though.

Try restoring the toolbars in firefox "safe mode"

    1. Close all instances of Firefox
    2. Click the Start button in the lower left.
    3. From the Start menu, select Run…
    4. In the Run dialog box, type firefox -safe-mode
    5. Click OK.
Once you start Firefox in safe mode, it opens a Firefox Safe Mode dialog with more options. Most of the options deal with resetting items.
    6. In my case, I wanted the option “Reset toolbars and controls
    7. Click Make Changes and Restart.

How long you had the problem? least its sorted now. No worries about it. :)

and thanks, flattery gets you everywhere. :P

(As a firefox lover myself I know how it sucks when you have to use IE or Chrome or something) lol.

Just downloaded the new version of firefox. Seems okay to me.

The only problem i have is that with this website when i click on next page it opens a new window on the same screen. I then have two tabs, page 1 and 2. Yet when i pay a visit to a different part of this website and then go to page 2 it is in the same tab.

    Hope the above makes sense.
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D
