Normally 25mm clout nails banged straight into the masonary.
Make sure they are galvanised.
Using standard steel ones will enventually bleed through with rust onto your new work.0 -
or stick them with a bit of multi, knock it up a bit stiff, and wipe of the excess thats comes through the bead...or let the plasterer do it.0
