Android App for this forum

Surely it's possible to create an android app for this forum? I ask as there are plenty of other forums that allow you to download an app to keep up to date with the forum and posts etc?

I'm not of a technical mind, but is there any desire/possibility of getting this done?

Why would you want a dedicated app when it displays perfectly fine in the standard browser anyway?

Alternatively use an RSS feed reader and subscribe to the forums Feed to get a lite text only version of the forum

It works perfectly fine plus it would be a cost to MSE which with updates etc to android would need updating and go against the principle of money saving imo.

I use the Tapatalk app for many of the forums I visit. It's £1.79 (or was when I got it) and is available for Android and iPhone. The forum Administrator needs to install a module onto the website though, the module is free itself and easy to install. It's available for a bunch of different forum software but ultimately it's down to the Admin.

It also suffered a security vulnerability recently

you can request Orange remove sites from their blocklist

Hi

Access to forums is initially restricted by our Orange Safeguard service. If you wish to remove Orange Safeguard from your account, you can do so either by calling our Customer Service Helpdesk or by going into your local Orange shop. If you are a Pay Monthly customer, this can then be removed straight away. If you are a Pay As You Go customer, you may be asked to provide proof of ID showing your age.
