Move from JSA to ESA

can anybody help please with this

am on JSA but been ill ,almost near the end of my two weeks (so didn't need drs note) but suffering with stomach ulcer and still not well, its a very long time since i had a drs note and i understand they are called fit notes?

if the dr gives me a note what do i claim ESA? i understand there a lot of tests for this what if i dont pass them will i be able to reclaim JSA without sanction if my claim for ESA is unsuccessful

if dr gives a fit note then you claim esa the first 13 weeks is called the assesment phase and from wk 14 the work capability assesment is applied and then you may have to go for a medical

can i ask what happens during the assessment phase, even if i have a drs note can a claim still be refused from the outset, if it were to be could a reclaim jsa without problems

you send in notes and you will be pais the same money as jsa in the assesment period if after that you fail the medical you can appeal and sill get the assesment rate until appeal is heard or go back on jsa no sanctions will be made from your payments
