we have a 1yr old male cat(un-neutered at the moment as he a house cat) and tbh hes never really been an affectionate cat accept when it suits him but thats not been a problem till now.
since i've been pregnant hes started to get really aggressive and attack people for no reason me esp. one minute hes sat there all quiet the next hes launching himself at you. i'm covered in scratches as are the kids and its got to the point where the kids are scared to go in the same room as him and asking if we can rehome him
I really dont know what to do with him
I dont really want to rehome him unless we have to but i'm worried as his behaviour is getting worse and I dont want to put my kids at risk.
any suggestions or advice would be appreciated thanks

this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

The first thing I would do is get him neutered. It doesn't matter if he's a house cat, neutering him should help calm him down a bit. Plus it will help with the smell of his litter tray! We've got a male who is just a house cat and the moment his pee started to smell he was off down to the vets!

Please get him neutered!! I wasn't in any hurry to get my boy done as he was a house cat, but my neighbour accidentally left the door open when she went out to smoke, and even though he'd shown no interest in going out, he went. He's been missing for 6 weeks now. They can smell a female in season up to 7 miles away, so if he's picking up a scent that will be driving him nuts.Unfortunately,
MONEY makes the world go round.
Bah Humbug!!!!
