Tried that it took me to the camera in 'computer' but didn't show any images.
The images are usually nestled a few folders down - \DCIM\101_FUJI in my case. Double-click the folder name to look inside.

Don't see any folders below the camera. Seems to be working ok now when I open with windows live photo gallery :)

    Double-click the camera?
Just shows 'fixed storage' and 'removable storage'

Hmm... I'd try the removable one, but at this point going to such lengths to find some pictures you've already got seems superfluous.

All sounds like a lot of effort.
    Why not use Picasa?
Also, why not just plug your camera's memory card into your PC directly.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Good idea if you've got a CF card reader: there's no need to turn the camera on.

Yeah my laptop has a multi card reader but the memory card is too big for it :( would have been handy

They're usually pretty cheap, whether internal or external.

Yeah that would be handy, another purchase on its way :)
