Trying to install printer : Insufficient Memory to run this app

Hi,

Trying to install new to me printer....

Comes up with

Can't run 16bit window program
insufficient memory to run this application

Then
Program cannot be executed due to configuration setting problem

Any ideas ???

    It may not be addressing the memory properly

    Just a hunch, but if you're installing from a CD-ROM try copying the contents into a folder on the PC, then run the contents from there.

    HP printers are notoriously bad for that issue.

    What version of Windows do you use?
