Tip: Primus online bills - use 'print' not 'view'

Just had my first online Primus bill for Home Phone £7.99/m package, chosen following the MSE analysis as best value for my needs.

The e-Billing system when I went to "View" the bill showed a "Charges, Credits and Adjustments" far larger than I expected for line rental (assuming it was in there, as wasn't anywhere else), but then the "View Details" click ONLY showed the breakdown of Call Charges - ie appeared to be concealing the charges/credits/adjs computation!

So here's a tip that cost me 20 minutes of on-hold to their Customer Services to get:

The online "View" is a lousy view with its "View Details" only giving call charges.

What you need to do is this:

When you log-in to your Primus a/c and E-Billing, the first display is a LIST of Invoices (ie just 1 for new customer like me) - on the right is a really basic list of options, eg

25xx-279xxxx 05 May 11 £14.52 - view - csv - print - query

If you click the "print" link [ie not the "view" link] it brings up an onscreen display that is COMPLETE - ie includes the breakdown of the "other charges/credits/adjustments" - eg shows the line rental on first bill with both (a) bring upto date of bill (b) prepay the next calendar month.

(You can then go on to decide in your web browser whether to print it or not!)

Have to say Primus' online e-billing navigation is primitive/confusing, though once you get to the full bill information (by the "print" and not "view" choice) it's reasonably presented.

It's just as well Primus uses session data in the URL or we'd all be reading your phone bill.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

Ooo well spotted. Hadn't realised the forum software would carry over the underlying links! The text copied over was just TOO rich!

    Taken the links off now.

Hopefully didn't distract from the intent of the posting.
