    Reboot and press F8 just at restarting. Do you get an option to 'Repair your computer'?

    There are a number of ways to tackle this problem, from finding and re-enabling the hidden partition or possibly starting the recovery process from the Boot menu.

    However I've just had my tea and feel a bit snoozy. Will come back to see how you are doing later.

    Nevertheless, it really will run nicely with XP. 1GB RAM in conjunction with other hardware is a good combination. Supplying it with Vista was a mistake.

    But it you prefer we can attack the restoring the use of the recovery partition(snore) :)
