Well, the cashier said they would clear straight away as TC's are treated as cash, however, I've since called up Lloyds to pay off my loan only to be told they have not cleared yet, and they may clear overnight. The swines:(. Nevermind, I'll phone again tomorrow. Paul.:cool:0

Do you have online banking? If so, have they affected your 'balance'? ie is your 'balance' different to your 'available balance' to the tune of the value of the cheques? If it is, then they've not processed them as cash. If there's no difference in balance/available balance then there's a chance they may clear as cash overnight....only to be told they have not cleared yet, and they may clear overnight.
EDIT: Lloyds do their overnight processing from 22:00 hours so you may get your answer before you retire to bed?0 -

Yes YB, I do use online banking, checked just now and they've not cleared yet...All I can do is wait.:cool:0 -
Just found out HSBC will charge 1.5%
Would have been easier if there was no charge as I bank with them... 0 -
Spoke to Barclays who said they would buy back TC's fee-free but would take 5 working days to clear funds. They specifically asked if the TC's were AmEx. Could someone confirm the TC's are AmEx ones,please?0
