Time to renew car insurance

My car insurance runs out at the end of the month so I thought I need to start looking around now to get the best deal. I am not very experienced at this. I am currently with Zurich but they have not sent me a renewal price as yet.
I have just used confuesed.com and the best one seem to be :-
masterquote - never heard of them tho
swinton
kwik fit
AA
Zurich came in at £120 more than the lowest.
Can anyone tell me which of these has the best policy, customer services etc ?
Or tell me of any good deals around at the moment ?

I shop around every year. They're all much of a muchness as they're either brokers or underwritten by one of the big players (Churchill etc). I use Confused to get quotes then buy through a cashback site. Quotes I've been getting seem to be close this year (within £20 of each other) but cashbacks are up to £120 so it seems worth switching every year. Quidco's cashback seems much better than TopCashBack so I'll probably use Screentrade.co.uk through Quidco (£120 compared with £20 through TCB).
Any suggestions to improve on this would be very welcome!

I noticed Zurich are offering £80 back though quidco but not sure if I can get is as I am an existing customer but it might be of use for someone out there.
I have never heard of Screentrade insurance does anyone recommend them ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0 -
Hi I got a good deal from would you believe marks & spencers in which I got free membership to R.A.C which includes home start (which I used yesterday when I had a flat battery) worth a look0

Marks and Spencer came out best here too. Make sure of what you are getting, some do not include legal cover, courtesy car etc and want to charge £30 or so extra for any additional cover included with other quotes. For example I am never likely to take my car to Europe so would leave that off but most included it.0

From those you mentioned I would choose the AA. I have heard that Kwikfit charge admin fees (anytime you ring up with a question they charge you £30)
and I have not heard of the other two.0 -

hi everyone
ive just been looking on moneysupermarket as well as my insurance is up very soon and the best quote i have got upto now was from liverpoolvictotia (csma) also the great thing was that you get to ask questions about your quote on line which i found great as i could ask them questions regarding the quote.
has anyone else had this on any other insurance sites?0 -
