Hi
It's me again, I am starting a new thread as requested.
This is my Malware log from today, (I ran this a few days ago and deleted 3 different Adware):
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100
www.malwarebytes.org
Database version: 6502
Windows 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2
Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.19048

My HijackThis is going wrong still.
It starts running and then it says:
For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are n this file, HijackThis may NOT be able to fix this.
If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this click Start, Run and type:
Notepad C;\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
And press Enter. Find the line(s) HijackThis reports and delete them. Save the file , as ‘hosts.’ (with quotes) and reboot.
I clicked ok and it brought up the list onthe screen but then it said:
Cannot find the c:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.log file
Do you want to create a new file?
I clicked yes and it opened a new notepad but there is nothing on there. If I follow the link it has a log from 25th March 2011 in there but nothing newer?
Any ideas>
Thanks

I noticed in the original thread, the words + text got large. Was it for just Firefox or everything?
If it's everything you may need to download graphics drivers again
With regards to Firefox, why don't you just reinstall it ?Owner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

Hi
The website you pointed out is legit - I will PM you.

Hi
I don't use Firefox. The pictures and texts are no longer large but any text does still appear to be undefined (ie a bit blurry)

Hi
I have fixed everything I have been told to fix but still no google.
I am just running a full scan on Malwarebytes after I updated it to the newest one.
Thanks
