This is really frustrating.
This year i cant get home and contents cover as I was made bankrupt in 2002. I have been discharged for several years, operate bank accounts and have credit cards.
If this is a new thing, many people may now find themselves uninsurable. Anyone else experiencing this?
Should the question as to if I was bankrupt not simply apply to the last "X" amount of years?

(Could also be in the bankrupcy forum but equally at home here).

Try phoning around rather than online. If the bankruptcy was discharged years ago, it should be ignored by most.

If you are still struggling try Bureau Insurance services
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
