hi, what do you have in your kitchen?
i see those cooker hoods everywhere and ive had one before and they are just too noisy and am i right in saying just get rid of smells, i would much prefer a standard extractor fan which are quieter and get rid of condensation, which i could fit above my cooker, any advice?
thanks

A cooker hood is a much more efficient way of getting rid of smells and steam than a conventional extractor fan.
A hood will gather most airborne smells/moisture as it rises from the cooker.
An extractor fan allows the smell/moisture to rise to the ceiling, only gathering some of it as it passes.
Why are hoods noisy ? they have bigger motors and are more efficient.........you pays your money.........0 -
Hi,
A cooker hood is the most important appliance in the kitchen. There are countless options to chose from.
If you are concerned about noise levels then I think you have 2 options, get a decent powerful one then you can run it on a lower setting therefore less noise than a weak one on full power. Or get a cooker hood with a remote motor, this way the noise source is on the outside of the house.
