Hi all,
after sucessfully reclaiming my bank charges I have started on my Mums
(2,200 in a year!!). When I did mine I filed the moneyclaim on the Monday and the cash went into my account on the Firday (1250) I filed my Mums moneyclaim 11 days ago and have heard nothing. Friday is the deadline. Anyone else heard at the last min? I think when I did it I got a letter saying they were defending it but the money went in anyway. Then they sent a letter saying they had credited my account but in no way took responsiblity for it blah blah blah.
From what I understand if they dont respond in anyway she has automatically won? Is that right? If so what is the time limit on when they have to pay up?
Am worried sick as she is counting on it for Christmas beacuse I told her how easy and quick it was when I did it.
Any comments would be great
thanksxxx

You need to wait and see what the bank will do. They may (in this instance) take the claim right up to the hearing. Some banks are only settling days before a hearing. If this is the case here, you could be looking at another couple of months before the claim is settled.
You were lucky that your own claim was settled so quickly, and you shouldn't take your own case as standard. Many other claims are taking a lot longer. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
