Who do I notify?

I have been offered 3 hours work, for the next 2-3 weeks, just paid at minimum wage, I think it's till just under £6 per hour.

I know it's not much, and short term, but it's keeping my hand in with some sort of skills and anything current will help my CV.

I want to make sure I do everything above board, and not fall foul of the system.

Who do I need to notify??
I was assuming the best person may be the lone parent adviser at the JCP. As I'm a single parent, but also in receipt of CA.
Or do I speak to the BDC or 0800 number.

I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be more trouble than it's worth, especially with people like HB & Council Tax, but I'd like to do if possible.

Advice would be appreciated,

Regards
Munchie

you should notify all departments that you get benefit from. a certain amount is disallowed depending on which benefit you claim.

    to be safe, tell everyone

    Thanks.
I receive Income Support, Child Tax, Housing Benefit / CT, Carers Allowence.

I'm assuming they will want some sort of proof?
Me phoning, or putting it in writing just doesn't seem to be enough.

I like the satisfaction of knowing I am in the right :) It explains alot about my life!
If I do this expecting to be reported, and I have done everything correct, I know I will be all right.
