Lloyds CC & fees offer

I just noticed that Lloyds have a 'special offer' for newly opened credit cards re. usual fees:

**Special Offer on Balance Transfer Fees
Apply for the credit card and transfer balances totalling £1,500 or more before 30 June 2011. We’ll charge our standard 3% fee for the balance transfer when you apply, and refund 50% of it within 30 days of your balance transfer going into your credit card account. Your refund will show on one of your next two statements as ‘50% balance transfer fee refund.’

Currently they offer '0% for 14 months' on 'Platinum Credit Card '- which with a 1.5% fee (instead of the usual 3%) looks quite good

It's a cracking deal (the best mid to long term deal at the moment?), but didn't seem to generate much discussion/enthusiasm when I put it on the credit card board a couple of weeks ago...

Tried to open one of these myself last week, but as I already hold the Duo cards they weren't having any of it, but it was well worth a try !

edit : just to add that this offer is also available via phone applications and NOT only through online applications as LLoyds website states.
