Hi all,
After being awarded ESA and placed in the Support Group two years ago we always wondered when my hubby's review would be so I was going to ring the DWP to find out but just today his ESA50 form arrived and boy what a nightmare the new form is!
I have a couple of quick questions.
He's still very ill and not able to fill in the form himself so I'll be doing it for him. As i'll be filling it in can I list myself in the section where it asks for who helped fill in the form or does that not count because I'm his wife?
His form is due back to medical services by 20th June is it better to send it back straight away, i.e. like DLA or keep hold of it for a a couple of weeks?
Thanks for reading and please wish me look, I think I'll need it.

AFAIK you should fill in the part where it asks if he needed any help, personally i'd say egt it back as soon as you have filled it in, as they need it to decide of OH needs a medical etc. If in any doubt get help from CAB etc. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks MessedUp, we've only just gone through his DLA renewal (for the second time he didn't have a medical and was awarded the same rates as before in less than 5 weeks) so we're hoping it goes at least somewhat as smoothly for his ESA claim.
I've heard on here though that people have lost their DLA when they failed their ESA medicals and vice versa, could that happen even though his new award for MRC HRM started just last week?
I know I shouldn't get stressed about it but I really can't help it. I don't want hubby to know how worried I am as he's ill enough already so instead I come online and vent a little.0
