esa reassesment?

I've just gotten a letter through telling me in have a medical in 3 weeks time BUT i haven't been sent an esa50 form. Is this normal for reassements or should i have been sent one (maybe its taking its time in the post?)?

That said when i had my first assessment in 2009 i sent of an esa50 but when i had my medical they didn't have it with them, so i'm wondering if its specific to certain illnesses somehow?

sorry am a bit confused :o

If they believe that you are seriously mentally ill your not expected to do an ESA50 I read on here once so maybe thats why you've had no form.
  • Strangely enough, I had to fill in this form and was then told there's no expectation for me to attend a medical. Very confusing, hope you get it sorted.

Whilst it is possible to be excused the medical as a result of what you ESA50 (and other evidence) says, I can't think of any circumstances where you would attend an ESA medical without having completed an ESA50.

You should contact your local DWP office, just to make sure that they haven't sent one and you just haven't received it.
