Not sure what my rights are and hoping someone can give me some advice. Two of my alloys had kirb damage on them when I bought my car. However was nothing major they wasn't rusting or anything like that, was just mainly around the rim. Arrange to have the damage repaired at wheel repair center, as re spray of wheels was required all 4 were done.
Really not happy with the job, all the kirb damage is out of the wheels but the paint job is horrendous on 3 alloys. There is very noticeable ruins in the paint, bumpy/bobbleing bits and even what appears to be a finger print in one of my alloys.
Refused to pay and spoke with the manager, who apologized and said it down to a new painter they had working for him. Arranged to have the 3 re done at same garage. Put car in for round two, leaving me another day with out the car. Same thing has happened again, runs in different places. Asked for my deposit back, Showed manager who agreed work was not "perfect" again. To be told I can't have it back as work had been carried out. Not wanting to let them loose on my car for a 3rd time is there anything I can do to get my deposit back ?
Quick point, alloys don't rust.

Agreed £140 to get them all done paid £65 deposit. Which I've now learned was a bad move. Really annoyed as when I went to get quoted asked to see some he had done and was shown a set that was just about dry and looked great.[/QUOTE]

Do you know you don't get any of these problems with steel wheels and plastic wheel trims !!
