Help with British Gas electricity monitor
Hi all
Im trying to set up my monitor with the correct electricity cost following these instructions:
To help the electricity monitor do its job properly, you need to tell it how much you currently pay for your electricity or your tariff. You can find your tariff by logging into britishgas.co.uk, under ‘Manage Your Energy Usage’ section. If you only have a single tariff enter information for Tariff 1. If you have different tariffs for different times of day, e.g. Economy 7, enter information for both Tariff 1 and Tariff 2
im on OnlineSaver 3 with EnergySmart but i cant find anywhere where it gives me the cost of the actual tariff
Thanks

Why not look at your last bill and divide the charges by the total amount of KHW's used. You can then use that figure for the monitor.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

Ignore the cost. It's rather useless. You'll get better figures by using the kWh display setting and lowering that figure as much as you can. A unit of electricity costs about 10p per unit on a good tariff. Try here to get your rates http://www.ukpower.co.uk/tools/smart_meter_calculator:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
