  • Picked one up as I was walking past the other day - bought about £12 worth of stuff yesterday and got 23 points. Woo hoo. Not. They seem to have jacked the prices up to match Boots on lots of items these days and at least in Boots you usually get a £5 off voucher and decent points deals. Not overly impressed so far.

The new Debenhams beauty card is quite good, though. Not particularly money saving as its all high end stuff in there but 1pt = 1p and you can reduce the price of a product by your points balance, which is a great idea.

I have been a fan of Superdrug in the past. In my small market town, the Boots is tiny but Superdrug is large and well organised. I always do the online survey thingie and so get discounts on the next purchases.

However, since the advent of the loyalty card the prices in Superdrug seem to have taken a big jump up. The special offers and BOGOFs have practically disappeared to be replaced by "spend £xx" and get extra points.

That does not appeal to me as much as getting actual cold hard cash off the price.

I will reserve judgement and see how things pan out over the next few weeks.

Hmmm, I've got one and only got one for the 99p deoderant.....The other problem is that unlike the Boots card where it tells you how your points awarded are made up, the Superdrug card doesn't, so you don't know if you got the offers you wanted or not.
