I always complete the short survey at www.superdrugfeedback.com and enter the validation code in the box on the back of my receipt.
This entitles me to 25% off Superdrug's own brand items and 10% off branded goods on a minimum spend of £10 on my next visit.
These are really worthwhile discounts if you are willing to spend over £10.0 -
Seems odd that the loyalty card is 1% - better to puy from Superdrug on-line with 8% cashback from quidco and free P&P over £25.
The beauty card will work with the surveys on the back of the receipts your given when you make a purchase.
So you can save
25% off own brand
10% off branded
and earn points.
There will be lots of point offers too. not just 1 point per £1.. will be like 5/10 per £1 on lots of items which will change monthly.0 -

I think this question is answered by this quote from the Superdrug press release.Plus the card doubles up as a compact mirror for your purse!0 -
Does anyone know if this card will be able to be accrue points from the purchase of postage stamps?
I tend to shop more in Superdrugs when they have the 10% postage stamps offers on.0 -
I don't think this would encourage me to shop at Superdrug instead of Boots. In my area, Superdrug stores are usually not very well stocked, the interiors are tired, and the floors always look dirty. Boots is just a much more pleasant shopping experience, the meal deal is good value, and it's worth the small price difference on a few items to not have to faff about in Superdrug. Even the Boots magazine is better than the Superdrug equivalent! Sorry, but I'll pass.2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Must admit, Superdrug have an awful lot of catching up to do compared to Boots. Boots shopping is a pleasure - the advantage card terminal offers, the meal deal range, their constant till splits (e.g. £5 off skincare at moment), their No 7 range with lots of GWPs, their premium beauty counters (BIG names), fragrance offers (lots of half prices deals and gifts) and lets not forget the sheer breadth and scale of all their other product ranges. Nice staff, queues soon clear and look forward to going in.
Superdrug is a chore rather than a pleasure. Under staffed, constant "security" announcements which kind of indicate that shoplifting is a problem, good offers are invariably out of stock and queues are long and slow. I always go in and will get one of the new loyalty cards but I cannot see it being as big as the Boots Advantage card scheme.
I think Superdrug would have gone the way of Woolworths if it hadn't had the huge financial backing that came from the owners of the Three mobile network group. At least they no longer try and sell you a Three mobile when you go in which happened circa 2004 onwards.....0 -
Good as a bonus, but Boots is more convenient and just nicer - better products, lighting, cleanliness, queues etc.
I guess it's habit as well, I know the set up of Boots and can just nip in and out quickly.
I feel bad knocking Superdrug though, they are offering a free loyalty club card, it's not a bad deal and they are trying to catch up.0 -
Just read everyones replies, had considered the card and then decided Boots was better by myself but then reading and reminding myself of the baaaad experiences I have had in that store:
The queues are a joke, I don't know how they do it, no other store seems to create so many queues yet work so so slowly to deal with them!
The disinterested staff others had mentioned, they definetly need to be put on some sort of a training course, disinterested staff = negative feeling customers and fewer purchases, even I know this! Yet their management don't seem to care!
The makeup that your not allowed to try on your face, despite their being testers clearly marked as testers you only have to hold up a drip of foundation to see if it matches your jaw line and like hawks from the canyons they come swooping over "your not allowed to test make up in here" spouted out by one of the most miserable looking creatures of the earth- it doesn't matter which store you pick they all seem to look the same weather they are 16 or 60. Maybe they did infact find their role in life...
And then there is the always ever filled reduced items rail. Now in most stores this would be fantastic, but in Superdrug you can guarentee what you want will have been left opened, covered everything else and the rest of the stock are out of date by several months. Surely more of a "health and safty" risk then attemtping to match a concealer with your chin could ever be no?
Any finally my main gripe: why why WHY have the fridges filled with drinks if your not even going to bother turning them on?!
Sorry...hadn't meant to go on quite as much as I did! That store needs to do more then adding in a half hearted loyalty card if it wants to gain back customer support.0 -
They are coming out with a new format but - like the queues - it will probably take years to complete the national roll out.
Still I will give it all a go and am intrigued how the card is going to double as a cosmetic mirror.....
