fax machine wont send

I have a brother 8360p fax machine that will happily receive faxes but won’t send them anywhere to any number. The machine was working fine on Wednesday and hasn’t been moved, dropped, unplugged etc. Any ideas?

Have you tried plugging a telephone in on the same line to check if it is dialling out OK?
Also worth checking you haven't changed it from tone to pulse dialling.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
