for the average diyer, a cheap brand like wickes will be good enough. you aint using them tools every day.
if youre a pro brickie, you shouldnt even be asking the question on here.Get some gorm.0 -
I bought a value pointing trowel from homebase for about £1.99. One of the best tools I have! I am a DIYer though sure a proper brickie would laugh at me!0

I bought my brickie trowel nearly 50 years ago when I first got married. I had no money, so it could not have been top quality. It's done many sizeable DIY jobs over the years and is still in good order. I'm not sure how it would have stood up to a lot of professional use however.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Marshalltown are one of the best tool makers for trowels(£35-00 upwards),floats etc and Stabila make the best levels. They do a cheap version but a good quality Stabila level 48" will coat around £70...
