Is it possible to get settled accounts removed from your credit file before the six years are up?
I have a couple of credit cards that went to payment arrangements but got settled a couple of years ago.
Thanks.

All accounts show as "settled" when they are closed and paid off, even if it is simply a credit card you never used and simply asked them to close, so I wouldn't worry about it.
As long as the information is factually correct you will never get it removed outside the normal timescales. That information is precisely what the CRAs are there to record. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
