  • Last time I went to the Eurozone (about 2 months ago) the best place was the Post Office.

Best way is to use an ATM card down south, Santander give the exchange rate on the day without charges when I use any ATM in the south.

There used to be a Northern bank ATM at Central station that gave euros, but I assume that's gone now.

Can you still get euros with your NB card down south?

Best place is the Bureau de Change in the Buttercrane in Newry.

    Post office is willfully bad.

I sold a car a while back to a guy from Dublin and asked in the Post Office for what i would get which was £4700. The guy behind the counter *told* me to go the Bureau de Change in Newry - i got £5300 for the Euros there
