Frauding the CSA

And what can be done about it.
Would my friend have to gather information and send it to CSA.
Sorry i replied to another thread after searching for some info on this.
My friend has come across this situation.
The father of her child has been trying his hardest not to pay anything for this child, as he lives with his wife and daughter and probably didnt wanting her finding out he had another child. The whole thing was messy my friend and her child going through DNA. Him giving her sob stories about leaving his job. bla bla bla.
So anyway the maintence calculation came through for my friend and was getting it back dated from a couple of months. She was entitled to i think about the same as person above £40 a week. Well with in two days of reciveing that calculation she got a call from CSA to say the maintence had changed to around £20 a week as there has been a new claim agianst him from his wife for there daughter.
Which technically they cant do as they have not seperated so there lying. And the reason i believe and have been told, is because he wants to pay less for the child he has no contact with, so the money would be coming from his bank account straight back in.
The CSA cant do anything unless they have proof there still together. As they have got to take each claim as a genuine claim.
But must raise there suspitions that after they get the maintence calculation, there not happy so they put in a claim to lessen the payments for the other child
Some people are just sick in the head.
But my friend is getting it sorted!
So YES it is FRAUD!

I would think he would have to do alot to prove they weren't together, but keep us informed, I'd never thought of anything like this happening... :shocked:Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

I think another poster has said what he would have to do, to prove he doesn't live there. It's not just a matter of him saying he doesn't. Otherwise everyone would be doing it!!0

Yup your friend will have to do all the legwork and prove it and it could well be hard to prove. The CSA have even been known to tell the PWC to take photos etc etc and send them in  The PWC becomes a [STRIKE]stalker[/STRIKE] PI.*SIGH*0

But my friend has been on at CSA, and they cant do anything they are just acting on it that its a Genuine Claim, Unless she can prove that he lives there,
They have taken into consideration her concerns. But she needs proof. Maybe him leaving the marital home in the morning going to work and returning home again.
They all live in the same town and its a small place.
She has been thinking of phoning the fraud people and explaining her reason to them why she think this is FRAUD.
People do prob do it all the time. so the Father can pay less to his children that are not living with him.0 -

Few years back I got a b!tchy email from NRP saying having another kid so your child support payments get reduced hahaha. Nothing surprises me as to how low some will stoop. Shouldn't laugh :rotfl:but they aren't together any longer either so x2 child support payments. Shame.*SIGH*0 -
Could Facebook be of use? If we're in the realm of snooping for you to have to prove this."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0

I can't believe, even though they are as inefficient as owt, would ask him, he says "no I don't live there" and they say "OK then" If so, they are even worse than I thought!!!!0 -

Yep thats what i thought. They just have to take his wifes word for it that its a genuine claim.
I will keep everyone posted on the outcome of this. People should not be alowed to get away with lying in order to keep their on lives KUSHTY! lol0 -

I'm pretty sure the CSA have access to many other sources of information than you or I do. Think address for where child benefit is paid, or any other benefits. Think about any information HMRC hold for either the PWC/NRP, then you have the electoral roll.*SIGH*0
