How much to strap??

I have just had my survey back on a 1879 house and it says i need to have the front wall strapped to the first floor ceiling and floor. This is due to old movement - is this a major cost? We would be stripping the walls and doing a full renovation anyway so don't worry about decor - it relly is just the cost of someone strapping it.
thanks

I can't remember the exact cost of mine, but when i had a similar thing done in my house (floor and ceiling) it didn't add much to the overall cost. it was mostly labour: lifting out the old floorboards, putting in the ties, packing the joists to level up the floor and then putting everything back together. I'd be tempted to say £1000 but that's because everything builders do seems to be in multiples of £1000
