Hi there
Im having probs with my printer after using non hp ink and after updating the drivers. Ive tried unistalling to no avail. Message is that ink is empty when its actually new.
Any ideas please? (other than going and spending 40 odd on new hp ink lol!)

If it is anything like my C309g then it needs resetting before it will recognise non OE carts. The carts are 'chipped.'
You need to Google the issue to see how to do it for that particular printer.
Having said that I used non-OE carts off Ebay in mine and they were terrible - bleeding everywhere.
My daughter needed it quick for a uni deadline so I ended up at our local Cart World to buy OE. They cost over £70!!!
Next time it needs carts I will be donating the printer to landfill and going for a new one - it's a cheaper route!0
