    I got 1 today, just to try it, went through the normal tills and the checkout girl did not bat an eyelid.
    Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
  • I tried to get 2 yesterday but SA said i could only have them if i got cereal as well so put them back went in today and went through self cheakout and got 2 so will try again tomorrow and get another 2!!!

    I managed to get 4 of the Crunchy Nut ones in Cheltenham today - I wasn't sure whether it was still working - until I saw a staff member who had just finished her shift getting a few - straight through the self scan with no bother. Thanks OP :)

    not fair i've been stopped twice by SS trouts and am too chicken to try again......:D

    Lol - I had read your post, and when I got to the SS I was shaking - it was pathetic :) But it was very busy & there was an old chap struggling with his bottles of sherry bless, so the SA was otherwise occupied - and for once I actually managed to scan all of my basket without a single thing being queried! The gods of the SS were smiling upon me :T:T:T

    husband got 2 today from morrisons in wolverhampton,paid at the self serve he was just about to walk out of the shop when the customer service lady almost sprinted across the shop and grabbed them off him and started saying something about they have been told not to sell them on there own to anyone and gave him his 2p back!

    if they've scanned and you paid then haven't you completed a contract, she had no right at all to snatch them off him
