Tried to get 4 today with a load of shopping but the SA thought you had to buy the cereal and flagged down a supervisor to check - who came back and said they had no value and you HAD to buy the cereal to qualify. Just my luck!

I didn't want to argue that others had managed to get them for 1p, so left them. Hope others have better luck!

It's not that some of us are saying it's not a bargain - of course a bowl that you think is lovely for 1p is a bonus - although personally I think it's a bit 'iffy' (I am a bit of a squeeky clean 'un though) as they are obviously meant to be a part of a promo - it's just that if we don't like something, we aren't going to buy it just for the sake of it.

Surely this is a plus because then it leaves these bargains for those who want and appreciate them eh? I got my 90p Grabbit plants which I love and appreciate. Simply don't need any bowls so didn't get any - MORE FOR YOU LOT WHO LIKE THEM!! :) You should encourage us not moan at us!!

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

They had loads of bowls in Harehills Leeds, but I didn't buy any because I don't need any bowls.

I wonder how long it is before they appear on Ebay? - Already on! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2Collectable-Kelloggs-Crunchy-Nut-Kellogs-Bird-Bowl-/140546300963?pt=UK_Collectables_Advertising_ET&hash=item20b9365c23

Well, ugly or not, I got 4 today. Will suit us fine for everyday use and preserve my better ones (hubby makes coffeee then throws the teaspoon into the washing-up bowl and, at best, chips whatever's in the bowl, or at worse, smashes it). I had no problem, went to a till with a young lad seving. Thank you OP.

Do you reckon you could get em done for false advertising as he says not available anymore yet they are still on sale/promotion ;)

We got ours from tesco when we got some coco pops but my mister loves it as its huge compared to our normal bowls so will try and nip through at a penny each thats blinkin good (in my opinion anyway)

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Thanks so much, OP! Got myself some today, I love them! They'll come in so handy for when I move. :)

A guy behind me in the queue at the self service tills was eyeing my screen while I was scanning them; wonder if he went back to get himself some.

Tried in the Tyldesley one at the self service tills, but the till was saying incorrect weight and needed autorisation. SA came and took them of me.
