when do the changes in legal aid come in to force?

im currently unemployed after losing my temp job just before xmas and have about 1200 in the bank. (for rent food etc)

im going to family mediation soon next week and im just concerned about the changes to legal aid, is it still a £8000 limit onsavings etc

or has it moved down to £1000

thanks for your help, im also a little concerned if the mediation doesnt work too and we have to go the court route...again

It's not been confirmed yet. The consultation ended on the 14th February and there has yet to be a Government response - supposed to be due in spring so any time soon.
