Son moving to Barcelona to work at the end of the month as he has got offer of work for The Eden Brown Group on a 12 month contract via Pinnacle Recruitment.

Any advice regarding getting him set up there would be very gratefully received, sorry i know that is vague but i really don't know where to start:
Accomodation
Phones, mobile or land(has a T-Mob contract at the mo!)
Broadband
Health Insurance and other Insurances etc

accomodation will depend on which part of the city he is working?

if his phone is unlocked the there are a few moblie sims he can get, movistar, vodafone etc

landlines he can use 'phone shops'

broadband may be available for free in some bars etc or again a mobile dongle

get him to get his EHIC card for health cover

I think you should ask your son what he thinks he is doing, the usual searches suggest this may be a 'boiler room' company that cold calls unsuspecting people and tries to get them to buy shares believing they are dealing with a UK company which Eden Brown certainly sounds like but isn't and is alleged not to be FSA approved either. Success and therefore income usually depends on being able to talk your way into peoples bank accounts in these companies, if the searches are correct then so long as he can sleep at night, he should love Barcelona as it is a great city to live and work in

The companies HR department should help him out with what you are asking.

    Hi,

I have a telephone interview with this company on Monday and could potentially be moving out to Barcelona next Sunday. Do you have anymore info on this company? Is it a boiler room scam for sure?

Please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks.
