Fake perfume purchased on ebay!

Hi,

I've bought some perfume on ebay that is quite clearly fake. What's the best route to take now? I'm I right in thinking I shouldn't return the counterfeit goods?

Thanks

Open an ebay dispute as they put the onus on the seller to prove it's genuine.
Paypal expect the buyer to prove it's fake with written confirmation from the company involved on headed paper within 10 days of opening a dispute.

I had the same problem I opened SND with paypal and told trading standards, who asked me to send the perfume, when i informed paypal I was refunded. Dont be tempted to use it as this stuff burnt my skin.
  • Do you know the name of the company you bought it from? Same thing just happened to me through a company called Scent Mall. I went direct through the company though, and now I can't find them on ebay! I paid through a clearing company called CCBill who SAY they're going to refund me. I'm even suspicious about that now, because they haven't questioned me at all, just said they'll refund me, and haven't told me what to do with the 'perfume' - I haven't opened it as it's so obviously fake!
