O2 Home phone.. Any good?

I am needing to find a new Home phone and broadband package, have been with O2 for many years for mobile and am tempted by their loyalty discounts at the moment but don't want to switch to them if they are not any good.
I was looking at their tariffs and it says "Connection fee" 12.8p.. confused about this, does it mean that I have to pay 12.8p every time I make a call even if it is a so called FREE evening/weekend call?
Or can anyone recommend a cheap, good home phone & BB company. I would like to keep them together on one bill and not with BT because that is who I am leaving!
Would like 20gb a month or more for download limits.
I have looked at the utilities page but don't know if any of the companies have REAL happy customers so any advice help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Connection fee,s are only raised if the call is a chargeable one not a inclusive one in a call bundle.
Your see it says 0p for included calls.
