So, as I understand it, you're buying it for your son and his friends to live in from the first year onwards. I know you don't want to contemplate this, but what will you do if he doesn't pass his A levels/get the required grades to get into his first choice university? Due to you making an agreement with his friends, they may not have anywhere to live, as they won't have put down for a space in halls.
On the face of it, it seems like a really nice idea but I wouldn't buy anything yet on the grounds that it would only take a slip of one or two grades and they might refuse him a place. Or is he sitting on an unconditional/taken a gap year?
Beyond this, I think it's a very nice thing to do for your son and his friends, but relying on all of them getting the grades seems a bit of a push. Could you hold back the purchase until after results day?0
