Compliment the venue, let them know how much you love the place,
when they come up with the price, look a bit crestfallen.

Ask nicely, tell them its a little way beyond your budget,

Take it from there, I get a real buzz haggling.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

thought id ressurect this as im reminded of the social stirrers i got, were £8 down to £1 each, with 80 questions per tub and free delivery
im hoping to split them up, just a few per table and then sell the unopened on to make some pennies back, i didnt realise there were 80 per tub, i wont need that many!
another absolute bargain is the wedding cake! my sister offered to pay but i wasnt holding my breathe then my mum has turned around and said the chef where she works(naval base canteen) will do our cake for free,i wouldnt want them to do it for free, i want them to take care and im sure they will if theyr getting paid so hopefully im getting a 3 teir, mixed flavour cake in my own bespoke design to feed 120 for next to nothing!
i listed these on ebay an hour ago and theyr selling already! i just need the bids to go up by £3.02 then id be over!
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

I was really pleased with the suits and shoes for my page boys, I was going to hire them suits but one is only 18 months old and they didn't do his size so in the end we bought three navy blue linen suits from m&s for £26 each (hiring would have been £55 each) and to go with them I picked up some cute navy blue boat shoes again from m&s down to £11 each!

Just waiting for them to arrive, hope they go together! :o)
