Things still do not add up.
I have some subjective thoughts, but nothing concrete.
How about you sanitise the Court Order of Judgment and upload this document - then we can see exactly what the court determined and offer you guidance?

To clear one aspect up:
I just spoke to CRASH services and they have told me if even I have lost the case my indemnity policy with them will cover the legal costs - so not to worry about that.:D
Also if the solicitor thinks its a bad idea to appeal they will go with what he says - so I'm on my own from therein. Though I have not said I will be appealing but at least now I now know where I stand with that.
CRASH are to speak to the solicitor and phone me back - as much as I know at this stage.
Will update asap,

As regards the court order of judgement - what do mean to upload this? - is this a specific document or something? or do you mean to simply clarify exactly what was agreed in court?
Ive already said what was agreed- judge ruled there was impact - (other side denying same) did not put the blame on anyone - though solicitor is chasing the other side for an "offer" which means they must be to blame - right? the judge did not rule on my Personal injury claim one way or the other - said she could not decide - that all accidents were different - my solicitor told me she had taken a look at the photos and made her mind up - then dismissed the case.
Heres a question as regards liability - why at any point didn't something think of taking out a measuring tape and measuring the the dents on our boot/height off the ground and comparing this to the height of the grill on front of lorry? - impact could have easily been decided there and then - or is that to much "common sense" to do that? There is nothing else that could have possibly made those marks in that exact spot and height on our car - would have saved everyone a lot of trouble I reckon....?
Everybody keeps commenting how this all doesn't add up - what specifically are you all referring to - which parts? I want to see are
those the same things that I feel don't add up! :embarasse

Further update as of this afternoon:
Just spoke to CRASH again - they spoke to solicitor and he has said - he's been on to the other side twice this week - waiting on an "offer" being made.
CRASH said if the solicitor feels we can appeal, the indemnity policy will cover fr the appeal (they stated they follow the sol. advice at all times) - though they think our sol. is keen to get this settled.
So that must clear up liability - they are at fault and that seems to be agreed as far as I can tell.
It now remains to be seen how much they will offer....? - I think if they come back with some ridiculous figure then he might appeal it I don't know...yet.
Also my wife will still have to dealt with as she has also a personal injury claim in (was off work for 3 weeks - had physio - symptoms lasting much as mine did over at year at least) and has not been seen as I was to be dealt with first.
One thing I am wondering given I had neck, left arm and hand injuries/left hand paresthesia - does this come under whiplash? and if so is there not a minimum payment for whiplash? - I found elsewhere on the net the minimum is £1000? I am hoping they will at least offer something close to this and meet us even half way...?
I have a feeling the appeal (we've got until 24th May to appeal) will be to get the judge to rule that I WAS in fact injured (which as I keep stating, I actually was) - but this could be putting the horse before the cart at this stage.
As least I know if it goes to appeal I have no legal fees to worry about..which is good...:o
As much as I know at this point......

Yet a further update - this is from solicitors email this afternoon:
"Just to confirm that the other side are still considering matters and whether they will make an offer without us having to appeal. I hope to hear from them early next week"
This is as much as I know at this stage....

are they doing a financial investigation into you I wonder, you will for loss of earning have to prove bookings and previous accounts. With the traffic island crash, I hope you paid the council for your damageDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Eh sorry, me pay the council?
The car was a right off I only got £20 for it! - as we were afraid the insurance would go up - it went for scrap....my insurance waited on he council contacting them to recoup damage to the island but they never did. I had to wait 3/4 months to see if they would come back on it.
The council were at fault - the traffic island was not even finished - road should not have even been open - was not light up AT ALL - completely pitch black - 6pm on January evening - loads of people I spoke to even the next day very nearly hit the traffic island and worse. My friend is a solicitor and she nearly ran into it - every one locally agreed its an absolute eye sore.
My own parents narrowly missed it coming from chapel the previous Saturday night i.e, 2 days before I hit it - and by some stroke of bad luck they did not happen to say to me the day after (even though we were there for lunch on Sunday) - I crashed the very next day....:-(
My mum was that angry it was in the local paper that week - I don't think the council would have dared try and claim for damage to the island (the article in the paper talked of numerous complaints about this) - anyway sorry when I say "island" is wasn't the white and blue island you'd imagine, it was a black plastic post in between 2 other posts that was knocked out of the ground - nothing else was damaged - the cement hadn't dried (hence should not have been open anyway) and my car took the force - post went under the front end and caused the damage along with me bumping up onto the kerb/island itself....
Was not even well signposted to warn anyone that it wasn't finished. They actually only painted the road markings on the day after I had the accident!! - so what does that tell you?
Yeah I know about the loss of earnings etc.. the solicitor gave me that option but said "no one usually does go for loss of earnings as its a pile of hassle etc.." I don't even know how my accountant could work that out - it would be an estimate probably."
Ive had to "write that off i.e, 8/9 days lost wages" as the sol said "well you are the one who's saying you were hurt so this is part of it all".
I cant see why they would be doing a financial investigation? - I am no different to anyone else hurt in an accident - if your hurt - you should be compensated - especially now as it appears the other side are accepting blame which was ruled (all be it reluctantly it seems) is that not fair enough?
