Been with them for three years, consistently cheaper than AA/RAC. Had two call-outs in this time and they've always come within an hour and fixed the problem.

Unlike AA/RAC they are insurance-based and actually quote individually based on your car. So, if you have an ancient banger they're likely to be more expensive than AA/RAC but if you have a newer car they'll be cheaper.

I have Recovery Plus (the fourth highest cover level). The website is pretty clear on what the differences in cover level are.

Quidco usually offers good cashback, but it takes AGES to come through (I think 14 months I waited the first year).

Just one tip - when you get your renewal from them next year, check the website for your quote as a new customer. It's always been cheaper so I cancel and sign up again every single year. :money:

Been with them for four years. Called them out twice, 10 min's and 40 Min's response times.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I used Green Flag for years, always had good service, no complaints.
When they were bought by Direct Line, they changed some of the Ts &Cs (and I won't knowingly do business with DL anyway), so I swapped to Britannia Rescue instead.

By and large you seem to get the same mechanic turn out whichever one you call. No complaints on the service I've had from either one, and I've used them both a few times.

Green Flag and Britannia both good (at least one call out with each) really acting as agents for local garages with breakdown facilities.
