Do you mean Biodiesel, bought from a garage? If so then yes it should be fine. May invalidate your warranty if you have one though.0

Personally I'd check with the manufacturer first.0

Yes sorry biodeisel, a friend told me i could use it straight away with out any changes being made to the car so is this correct? also is it better to use half bio diesel and half diesel?0

Don't take hearsay from a mate as fact ask the manufacturer as advised above. Some like GM actually state not to use biodiesel in some or all models. I was in the Netherlands a few weeks ago and the car hire company had a sign (in English) warning customers not to use it in their hire cars. It was cheaper there than normal diesel but maybe the cars were not compatible hence the warning.0

Two companies I've worked at have had a strict "no biodiesel" policy for company cars.0

AFAIK there's no reason why not. Car manufacturers aren't keen for no particular reason. Its chemically the same as normal diesel.Yes sorry biodeisel, a friend told me i could use it straight away with out any changes being made to the car so is this correct? also is it better to use half bio diesel and half diesel?0 -
On the bio diesel forums, the replies always any diesel will run on well made biodiesel.
http://www.biomotors.co.uk/CarsVansS.html#Suzuki have a look here, if you can identify your car, and it says 1 tank, you could even run a mix of veg oil/regular diesel or veg oil/biodiesel.
Finally if you decide to use bio, it will clean out your fuel tank and fuel lines and may block the filter. This is natural and doesnt mean you've done the car in.
My current astra needed a filter change after 700 miles on bio, it's been ok since though.0
