    Yes, agreed.
    I'm thinking that even the switching sites are just all part of the "confusion marketing" attached to the utilities business. I've just changed my gas tarrif (to another within BG) and to a (hopefully) cheaper tarrif with EDF (also my current supplier).
    We'll see after a few months just how much money I save!
