Would be good to see if we can identify the Jabba the Hut look-a-like and the company she works for. Name and shame etc.

cant name her but she is employed by Bristow & Sutor

not only is she very unprofessional she was collecting two council tax debts and levied the same goods twice
I am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites

If you are in any doubt please seek legal/expert advice help

Has she and the company she works for been reported?

Listening to her pathetic bully-boy tactics made me really angry. I hope she gets the sack.

I doubt it, shes probably 1 of there top earners for the company. After seeing some of the lame attempts by male bailiffs in there 60s shes hardcore.
Saying that I dont approve of her behavior in any way its just the fact that I bet she is highly rated by management.

That's true. Her knuckle dragging line manager probably approves of her behaviour.

Once they have been invited into the house, and valued goods for removal, legally they have the right to re-enter without your permission - including by force.

Sadly that bailiff seems to take the job she does personally, and clearly that affects her ability to do the job with professionalism. However, the young girl in this case is doing herself no favours, and cannot demand the bailiff leaves her house, until such a time as the bailiff is done conducting her business there.

Rule Number 1 - don't allow them to get you worked up.

    Just to clarify the point

To force entry for any valid levy following peaceful entry the bailiff has to:

gain the permission of the Authority AND if they agree
get a Court Order from the Magistrates - very rarely given - AND if that is agreed
must write to you giving you a date and time of attendance.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

Quite right King100, and this particular bailiff may well get her backside kicked and a Form 4 Complaint to the court that could cost her her certificate, and her job.

A court order is not needed from the magistrate for council tax purposes before they can re-enter to remove goods (except the initial liability order) although they are looking at making the courts agreement a requirement. - HMRC bailiffs can apply for a warrant to force entry without first having had peaceful entry.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
