Ooh why did the last video stop there?! I wanted to see what was about to happen!

Thing is, if the older woman IS a bailiff & since she was inside their house, then she is correct in saying that they can break the door down if they don't allow them in during their next visit...correct?

Once they have been invited into the house, and valued goods for removal, legally they have the right to re-enter without your permission - including by force.

Sadly that bailiff seems to take the job she does personally, and clearly that affects her ability to do the job with professionalism. However, the young girl in this case is doing herself no favours, and cannot demand the bailiff leaves her house, until such a time as the bailiff is done conducting her business there.

Rule Number 1 - don't allow them to get you worked up.

Sort of correct, they need to go back to court and get a warrant ( I believe) and they must also advise you of a date and time that they will attend.

The funny part is you can here them talking about an email.

Well an email was sent from council to bailiff accepting a repayment of £35 a month which the council accepted.

Personally if a bailiff was ever in my house and spoke to me then I would demand they leave, totally unprofesional.

Thanks for posting these, they have scared me to death but in a good way. Determined to keep chipping away at reducing my debts because I don't ever want to have to deal with a person like that.

Please just remember bailiffs cannot force entry to your home. You do not have to deal with them at all.UNLESS they are collecting in regards to a HMRC debt to do with tax and revenue then they can.

DCAs have no power and you can tell them to FO if they ever turn up to your property.

when a bailiff is in your property and he/she is not acting in the correct manor you most certainly can ask them to leave your property if asked then must withdraw from the premises this does not stop the notice of seizure being valid if they have already listed your goods

A bailiff cannot force re-enter to your property by force 5 days after the levy on goods
The bailiff Must seek writing permission from the local authority
the bailiff must then give the debtor the Time and date in writing for this action to take place (and i don't mean sticking a note through the door saying we will return at xxx time tomorrow to remove goods )
    p5 Forcing re-entry
The law upon the rights of bailiffs to force re-entry to premises in order to remove

goods previously seized has recently been clarified. In Khazanchi v Faircharm
Investments; McLeod v Butterwick [1998] 2 All ER 901 the Court of Appeal held that
bailiffs may only force re-entry where they are being deliberately excluded from
premises. It will thus be necessary in most cases for the bailiff to notify the debtor in
advance of the date and time of the visit in order to remove. If the debtor is then
absent from home, or refuses entry, force may be employed.

    V scary

I think the things that I took away from this were:

    1. How does that woman sleep at night?
    2. What kind of person applies for a job where they will be persecuting other people? Do they get a buzz, some kind of sick satisfaction?
    3. Thank god I'm not such a horrible person.
    4. After I have finished paying off the last of my debt, I am making it my life's mission to never have a credit card or loan again. There is nothing I need so desperately that I need to get myself in this kind of mess again for.
    5. By paying off our debts, we are taking the power back from people like this. Hopefully one day with the help of this site they will become a thing of the past.

Keep going guys, we have to keep people like her out of our homes.

Not very well at the moment i would think as near the end of the visit she knew she had been caught on camera

    A power hungry bully

hopefully this one wont be a bailiff for much longer as a transcript of these video's should be sent to the court that issued her certificate bringing into question her fitness to be certificated bailiff

Extremely unprofessional. Seems to me she has a superiority complex and enjoys frightening people.

    Disgusting behaviour.

Would be good to see if we can identify the Jabba the Hut look-a-like and the company she works for. Name and shame etc.
