Conference calling using normal phones

Hi
Can anyone suggest a good, low cost teleconferencing service that can be accessed from normal phones (ie not Skype/Gtalk etc).
We will have 6 participants, all in the UK, and need to use the service for an hour every 3 months. Some participants will be calling from work settings that won't allow voip calling.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Have a look https://join.me/ - it is meant for holding computer meetings but there is a free phone conference facility offered alongside it, with a USA landline number as the access. So long as your participants all have a way of accessing USA landlines for around 1p per minute (Google "usa 0844") then you might have what you need - just set up a dummy computer session and then have your participants all call into the phone facility.0

United Conferencing offer free to use conferencing facilities via UK geographical access numbers. No expensive 0844/0871 calls for participants.
See: http://www.unitedconferencing.com/international-access/united-kingdom/
The access number to use is 020 3347 7777 . The 01624 number quoted is an Isle Of Man Number.
Also http://www.03talk.com/ offer free conferencing via a 03 access number.No expensive 0844/0871 calls0 -
Thanks!
United Conferencing looks like the best one for us.

Will the workplaces allow instant messenger applications? I once had a job where we all worked from home and communicated via a messenger application, it is an incredibly easy way for lots of people to share information quickly. You also have a log of the conversation if that's important.0

Thanks for the suggestion, but we need to make voice calls. Its for a steering meeting every quarter.0 -
Note that if it's for a voluntary group / charity, I think it needs to be in your governing document that you're meeting remotely rather IRL.Crocswearer wrote: »Thanks for the suggestion, but we need to make voice calls. Its for a steering meeting every quarter.
I once participated in a Go to Meeting webinar. That might be useful if you want to share documents / presentations.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
