HSBC PPI Claim - Am I in with a chance?

Dear all - new to the site, and it's my first post so go easy on me! I took a graduate loan out with HSBC in 2002 for £5k. At the time, I was unemployed, as I had literally just finished uni. anyways, the adjudicator upheld the complaint in my favour and they still had the nerve to reject it, my complaint was then put in a queue for an ombudsman final decision(which weve been told most agree with their adjudicators decision) in january 2011 but wa swinformed of the queue and was told to expect to wait 6 months for a decision, its nearly 5 months since then and still no word!!!

I have got cases waiting for an ombudsman decision that are getting close to 2 years.
