Bid Tv Etc

Options
We have bought a few things off Bidtv and have been happy with prices and quick delivery. The high end stuff (Sat Navs, TVs) tend not to be such a great bargian, it is the run of the mill stuff seems to go for good prices, ie electic toothbrushs, leather handbags, duvet covers. Best way to do it is online, you can seach for what you want and bid online. Morning and afternoon auctions are best for the bargians, just remeber every thing has an £8+ P&P loading and factor that in to your bid. Speedauction would seem to be a clearance auction, mixture of bargians and rubbish, plastic owl sat on a clock, stuff like that.

Does it not hurt you that you pay £9.49 before you buy anything? (P&P £7.99 + call cost £1.50)

I won't buy from them on principal - I know it's not a MSE strategy but I can't bare the fact that I have to spend nearly £10 on getting the product!
  • I used to use them till they put the phone call up to £1.50. How many shops would have your trade if they charged you £1.50 to walk through the door?

Its only a bargain after you've factored in the phonecall and the very high P&P.

I agree. And if it isn't right, sure you can get your money back for the item but you'd be nearly a tenner out of pocket (not to mention the cost of posting it back- don't know if they offer this free, i somehow doubt it though)
  • The P+P is quite high.. the calls not to bad if its an high priced item but for small gifts ect its very expensive..Never tried online :S
