Hi I've just got the capital one card and they have automatically set me up for direct debit of the minimum payment, I don't really like paying my CC's this way as I used to pay my Barclaycard on the same date every month without fail.
Can I cancel the DD and just pay as I usually pay i.e. directly through my capital one account??

Yes you can but having a DD set up means a minimum payment is never missed or late0

You can register your capital one credit card online with Cap 1 and from there you can amend or cancel the DD all by yourself without calling Cap 1.
However its safe to set up DD for the atleast minimum amount. So in case if you have already paid your bill after statement has been issued, then DD will not be taken out.0 -
